French-Italo singer Sara Longo (vocals, effects) and Venetian musician Alvise Seggi (cello, double bass) revisit the Beatles' repertoire while also paying homage to the grandes dames of music like Carla Bley, Mercedes Sosa, and Cesaria Evora.

Their much-anticipated album is set to be released in March 2025 (Frémeaux & Associés, France).

In an intimate setting of deep impact, Sara and Alvise breathe new life into the Beatles' classics, blending timeless tunes with heartfelt homages. The distinctive essence of the duo allows them to navigate with fluid interplay, seamlessly combining Sara’s soft voice, hypnotic cello drones, and a deft use of effects. Occasionally, they venture into musical territories reminiscent of early Mississippi blues.

Sara Longo, a talented jazz singer, lives and works between Paris and Venice. She boasts a long list of performances (over 400), including some at prestigious jazz festivals in France, like Jazz à Vienne, Jazz à Juan, and Samois-sur-Seine. In 2014, she won the esteemed Trophées du Sunset award in Paris. Currently, in addition to performing, Sara teaches singing in Venice and collaborates with some of the best Italian jazz musicians on new and original musical projects.

Alvise Seggi is an eclectic and accomplished artist with a career rich in international collaborations. He has played with world-renowned musicians such as Elliott Sharp and Farhan Sabbagh, among others. Alvise has also recorded with various labels and composed music for films and documentaries, significantly contributing to the music scene in the Venetian area.
