Amsterdam-based Nani Vazana is one of the few artists in the world to write and compose a modern and captivating repertoire in the endangered Ladino language. With a powerful voice and irresistible stage presence, she captures the spirit of this ancient matriarchal Judeo-Spanish language and culture and propels it into the 21st century with socially relevant lyrics, celebrating migration, gender, and female empowerment.

Nani has reached the Top 20 of the World Music Charts in Europe, has been touring internationally since 2017, has lectured at TEDx Amsterdam and is a regular panelist at important showcases like WOMEX.

She teaches at the London Performing Academy of Music and Jerusalem Music Academy, is president of the Amsterdam Artist Collective, and is responsible for Why DIY Music and Nova Productions

Basée aux Pays-Bas, Nani Vazana est l'une des rares artistes au monde à écrire et composer un repertoire moderne et captivant dans la langue ladino en voie de disparition. Avec une voix puissante et une présence scénique irrésistible, elle capture l'esprit de cette ancienne langue et culture judéo-espagnole matriarcale et la propulse dans le 21e siècle avec des paroles socialement pertinentes, célébrant la migration, le genre et l'émancipation féminine.

Nani a atteint le Top 20 des charts des musiques du monde en Europe, tourne à l'international depuis 2015, a donné des conférences lors de TEDx Amsterdam et anime régulièrement des panels à d'importantes vitrines comme le WOMEX.
